how to book a biking tour with Sardinia Cycling
Booking with Sardinia Cycling is easy, fast, and secure.
To ensure the safety of your personal data and provide a smooth booking experience, Sardinia Cycling uses the reliable WeTravel platform. All transactions are encrypted and handled according to international security standards, so you can book your tour with peace of mind.
1. Choose your tour
Once you select your tour and click the booking button, a WeTravel pop-up will open where you can select the dates and number of participants. There’s no redirect—you stay on our website while completing your booking.
Important: If you choose a guided tour, only the scheduled tour dates will be available for selection. For self-guided tours, you can freely choose your preferred dates within a defined time window, giving you full flexibility to plan your trip.
2. Enter your personal details
Fill in the required fields with your personal information: name, email, and any additional details needed for the tour (e.g., cycling experience level or dietary preferences).
3. Select add-ons
During checkout, you can add extra options such as:
- Optional activities or excursions
- Single room supplement
- Other special services offered by the tour
Add-ons are automatically added to the total price, giving you full control over your experience.
4. Payment options
WeTravel accepts multiple payment methods, including:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- Bank transfer (options may vary by country)
- Payments in multiple currencies, depending on the tour
5. Review and confirm
Before finalizing your payment, review all booking details: tour, dates, number of participants, selected add-ons, and total price.
6. Payment and confirmation
Once your payment is completed, WeTravel automatically sends a confirmation email with all the details of your booking. You’ll also receive practical information about the tour and, if applicable, instructions to download road books or other digital guides.
7. Post-checkout support
If you need to modify your booking, add extra options, or have any questions about payment, the WeTravel support team is available to assist you, along with our Sardinia Cycling staff.
Do you need travel insurance?
Yes — it’s always a smart idea. Having a policy that covers unexpected events, cancellations, or medical expenses gives you peace of mind and protection. We don’t sell our own insurance directly: travel insurance is regulated nationally, and providers can usually only cover residents of specific countries. Since we welcome guests from all over the world, it wouldn’t be possible to have one single policy that works for everyone.How do we solve this?
During checkout, our booking platform — powered by WeTravel — suggests the best travel insurance options available in your country of residence. These are trusted companies, selected by WeTravel to ensure reliable coverage, high quality, and a secure purchase process. Here’s how it works: If insurance is available in your country, you can add it directly during booking. If no options appear through the platform, you can still buy a policy at home — and we’re happy to advise you on what to look for.
Changes and cancellation
Changes in the Itinerary
Due to circumstances beyond our control, SardiniaCycling reserves the right to make partial changes in the stated itinerary. Changes, if necessary, won't change the level of service and will be made according to the inspirational principles of the original route.
Cancellations and Refunds
We reserve the right to cancel any trip, for any reason, at any time prior to departure. In this case, refund of any payments received constitutes full settlement. All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing as soon as possible to SardiniaCycling. Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather or personal emergencies. There is no refund for unexpectedly leaving a trip early or arriving late.
We apply the following cancellation fees:

| 90+ | €30 administrative fee |
| 89-31 | Loss of the 30% deposit |
| 30-0 | 100% of trip price |
In case of cancellation without the right of total or partial reimbursement, you may apply 50% of payment to a future trip departing within one calendar year after the cancellation date.
