how to book a biking tour with Sardinia Cycling

1. Choose your tour

On each tour page, you'll find a "Dates and Prices" section showing the available options: Guided group tour, Self-guided – early season, and Self-guided – late season.

The guided tour can be booked on the dates offered, while our self-guided trips are very flexible and can start on any day within the early or late season time frames.

If you'd like to go guided but the dates don't suit you, you can explore the "Private tour" option. It can't be booked through the automated procedure, so please get in touch with us.

Once you select your tour and click the booking button, a WeTravel pop-up will open, where you can select your dates and the number of participants. There's no redirect: you stay on our website while completing your booking, in a secure area guaranteed by the WeTravel reservation platform.

To ensure the safety of your personal data and provide a smooth booking experience, Sardinia Cycling uses the reliable WeTravel platform. All transactions are encrypted and handled according to international security standards, so you can book your tour with peace of mind.

2. Select your dates

For the two self-guided options, you just need to select your arrival date. The website will do the math and update the calendar with the whole travel duration.

3. Select add-ons

Once your dates are highlighted, you can customize your trip with the available add-ons. They can differ from trip to trip, but among them you might find:

• Luggage delivery
• Optional activities or excursions
• Single room supplement
• Other special services offered by the tour

Add-ons are automatically added to the total price, giving you full control over your experience.

The cost of luggage delivery is shared among up to 6 people: in a group of 2 or more riders, only one person pays it.

4. Payment

Once your dates, package options and add-ons are set, enter your personal details and proceed to checkout.

WeTravel accepts multiple payment methods, including:

• Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
• Bank transfer (options may vary by country)
• Payments in multiple currencies, depending on the tour

5. Review and confirm

Once your payment is completed, WeTravel automatically sends a confirmation email with all the details of your booking.

6. Post-checkout support

If you need to modify your booking, add extra options, or have any questions about payment, the WeTravel support team is available to assist you, along with our Sardinia Cycling staff.

From the moment of your reservation up to the start of your trip, you'll receive the trip documentation, app access, itinerary and vouchers, all in digital format. You can also book a video-chat briefing with our tour designers, who will go over the trip and the reserved services and will be happy to answer your questions.

Do you need travel insurance?

Yes, it's always a smart idea. A policy that covers unexpected events, cancellations or medical expenses gives you peace of mind and protection.

We don't sell our own insurance directly: travel insurance is regulated nationally, and providers can usually only cover residents of specific countries. Since we welcome guests from all over the world, a single policy that works for everyone isn't possible.

How do we solve this?

Depending on your country of residence and the currency of the trip, our booking platform, WeTravel, may offer a travel insurance option during checkout. This isn't available for every guest, so please don't count on it.

If no option appears, we recommend buying a policy from a provider in your home country before your trip. We're happy to advise you on what to look for.
