In 2025, Sardinia Cycling took a new and deeply meaningful step forward by opening a new branch of its business: two brand-new apartments available for rent. Created with our cycling guests in mind — but open to everyone — the apartments can be booked through the most popular accommodation platforms (search for Maglia Nera Apartments) and represent much more than just a place to stay.

They were designed for riders who want to explore the area around Quartu Sant’Elena with freedom and independence, while still being close to everything that makes the Sardinia Cycling experience unique. Located just a short distance from our headquarters and from Maglia Nera Cycle Café, the apartments allow our different worlds to connect naturally. A relaxed breakfast before the ride, a well-earned refreshment after — everything flows effortlessly.

Guests are free to choose where to store their bikes. For those who prefer, secure bike parking is available at our facilities, but it is entirely optional — independence remains at the heart of the experience.

So why do we say that this “closes a circle”?

Because Sardinia Cycling began in 2008 as a small service provider working behind the scenes for hotels, DMCs, and tour operators. Back then, we dreamed of becoming tour operators ourselves — of being able to design and deliver complete experiences, including accommodation. Over time, that dream became reality.

As our tours evolved, so did our vision. We began working closely with food and beverage services, imagining a place where cycling culture, hospitality, and quality cuisine could meet. That idea found its home in Maglia Nera Café.

The apartments represent the final piece of that journey. Today, we can welcome our guests, offer thoughtful and authentic hospitality, serve great food and drinks, provide premium bike rentals, and deliver professional cycling services — all shaped by the same philosophy and cared for by the same team.

This continuity matters. When the people who design the experience are the same ones who deliver it, every detail counts. It’s the reason we’re able to manage complex trips with confidence, flexibility, and heart.

And there is one last reason why this feels like coming full circle. The apartments are located exactly where our very first office once stood. It’s where everything began. That’s why, for us, this place isn’t just another project.
