From the very beginning SardiniaCycling has offered classical road and mountain bike tours in ever enchanting Sardinia. But there are a lot more places to ride and enjoy in Sardinia. So, we’ve decided to add tours that bring cycling enthusiasts to exciting and even more seldom explored but always interesting areas of Sardinia.

Road bike tours

Ogliastra, in the central eastern coast, is one example. Here, you’ll ride between history and the natural wonders of fantastic Sardinia. The Cannonau tour is another. It takes you through the vineyards of this the best known and tasteful of wines in Sardinia. You’ll taste some too! Yet another tour follows the paths Max Leopold Wagner traced. Max not only loved Sardinia, he also studied the island’s culture and especially its language in depth.

Mountain bike tours

In the eyes of mountain bikers, Sardinia is dirt roads and panoramic views of the ever-present mountains and deep blue Mediterranean Sea. There are some heavy-duty inclines and declines too. But bear in mind, what goes up always goes down.

At SardiniaCycling mountain biking tours are exploratory. They put you in touch with not-to-be-erased views of wild and unspoiled landscapes, nature reserves and, of course, the sea. Our classical road and mountain bike tours are either guided or self-guided. You can be sure of one thing. Our target is to ensure an unforgettable cycling experience for you. Of course, we always ride on very well tested routes and on roads with little traffic.

Fixed-base biking holidays in the South of Sardinia

SardiniaCycling has developed the Sardinia Outdoor Garden & Bike Center in collaboration with Sun Events to accommodate families and other cycling enthusiasts looking for relaxed and enjoyable road and/or mountain biking experiences.

We call them Biking Holidays. From a meticulously selected hotel, cyclists can enjoy carefully planned day tours that begin and end at the hotel. The tours are either guided by professionals or self-guided either on bikes from the Bike Center or on your own bike. Bike Centers nearby your hotel rent bikes – mountain bike, road bike or touring bike – it’s your choice. And they offer qualified services for cyclists. Bikes are of the best brands and in tiptop condition. Other rentals from a Bike Center include pedals, helmets, rear racks, as well as GPS with loaded routes.

Training camps with the champion

SardiniaCycling and Sun Events work together to organize Training Holidays. Our target is to arrange Training Camps, clinics and weeks dedicated to road cycling, mountain biking and running.

Together with top-of-the line accommodations, we offer athletes a broad range of services: bike rentals and accessories of high quality, professional and specialized guides, support vehicle during rides and much more.

Our intention is combining some of the most beautiful and spectacular holiday destinations with excellent training components enhanced by moments of relaxation.

Training Holidays offer all of the possibilities of a perfect holiday, alone or with family. A special Training Holiday is the Training Camp Mario Cipollini. In case you don’t know it, at this camp you’ll be cycling and learning from Mario Cipollini, one of the greatest cycling champions in the world.

One week full of fantastic cycling experiences, complemented by information regarding physical training, nutrition, bicycle choice and correct positioning. Sardinia, in particular Villasimius, just north of Cagliari, where the mountains meet the sea, is the starting point for marvelous routes and the ideal scenery no cyclist wants to miss.
