SardiniaCycling, founded in 2008, is a licensed tour operator specialized in cycling holidays.

Today we are a leading biking tour company which accommodates cyclists from all around the world and arranges unforgettable holidays and trips for them. If you want to get more info about our company and the other activities carried out, we invite you to keep browsing this very informative website.

SardiniaCycling is located in three offices in the areas on Sardinia that offer the best cycling. In the South, we are in Quartu Sant'Elena, nearby Cagliari. In the Northwest, we are at Alghero at the Hotel Alma. In the Northeast, we are in Costa Smeralda, at Hotel Airone. Each office has its own manager, a fact that guarantees stability for our guests.

SardiniaCycling has strong partnerships with international companies such as Canyon, our official partner. We also partner with Campagnolo.

Investments through the years have made SardiniaCycling the biggest and most capitalized company on the island.

We speak English, German and Italian so you can feel free to communicate with us in your language!

You can believe us when we say

WE LOVE OUR JOB! WE HAVE FUN DOING WHAT WE DO. AND WE DO IT WITH PASSION!

A little history.

It all started at the end of 2008, almost as a bet. Turning a deep passion into a successful business is a dream for many people. But that’s what Giovanni Lamieri and Simona Solla have done.

Giovanni had many years of mountain-bike training and racing behind him. Simona was a top-level triathlete. All of the ingredients were there. What could go wrong? So Simona and Giovanni began a journey that has allowed them to realize their dream.

Putting it all together meant purchasing bicycles, opening the bike stations, designing routes and a website and visiting trade fairs. Not least, this involved big investments.

They were driven not only by the desire to forge ahead, but also by the understanding that to succeed they’d have to read, listen and puzzle out what would attract cycling tourists and elite athletes to consider cycling on Sardinia.

Not a lot of time has gone by since Giovanni and Simona began realizing their dream, and they’ve developed enormously since then. Today they offer cyclists from around the world cycling holidays designed to provide an enjoyable range of worry-free cycling focused on the absolute best road and mountain bike touring Sardinia has to offer. And their range of rental bikes is unmatched when it comes to the variety of cycles available. What’s more, they’re all of the highest quality.

In 2011, Marcello Ghironi joined them, and he's number one when it comes to managing the bike fleet.

What he doesn’t know about all kinds of bicycles isn’t worth knowing. At SardiniaCycling, he has more than 100 bicycles to keep in tip-top condition. Putting his enormous energy into keeping the cycles at SardiniaCycling like new is his job. And he always does it with a smile.

The SardiniaCycling philosophy:

The dream that gave Giovanni and Simona the courage to begin their business has always driven them forward. But dreaming is one thing. Running a business is quite another.

However, if only doing business dominates, Giovanni and Simona believe that their dream will lack soul. If the dream dominates, there is risk of ignoring the concrete aspects of doing business. Giovanni and Simona have found the balance between dreaming and doing business.

Dreaming allows them to look forward, finding new ways to stimulate excitement, avoiding routine and stagnation, while paying attention to doing business means ensuring the quality of their services, paying attention to detail, giving priority to safety and establishing only the best relationships with their customers.
By combining doing business with dreaming a dream, Giovanni and Simona hope they’re creating a business with soul, a business where customers go home with a smile and return again as friends.

Made by cyclists for cyclists – that’s SardiniaCycling.

What you say about us!

We had a fantastic cycling tour in Sardinia - thanks to Sardinia Cycling! Everything about your service was really great...
Anna and Björn, Sweden
How fortunate we were to find SardiniaCycling! Are we cycling snobs? No. But we know the transcendent experience of being in breathtaking beauty, viewing an incredible place at a human powered pace, on quality machines. This is how we choose to tour and are on the look-out for likeminded folks who can relate to this passion.
